چکیده

Lignocellulose biorefinery via continuous cell-recycle fermentation has long been recognized as a promising alternative technique for producing chemicals. ᴅ-lactic acid (D-LA) production by of corn stover Lactobacillus bulgaricus was proven to be feasible previous study. However, the phenolic compounds and high glucose content in this substrate may inhibit cell growth. The immobilization cells polymer hydrogels can protect them from toxic medium improve efficiency. Here, we studied D-LA L. immobilized cross-linkable F127 bis-polyurethane methacrylate (F127-BUM/T15). Hencky stress strain F127-BUM/T15 159.11 KPa 0.646 respectively. When free-living were cultured media containing 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, vanillin, or concentrations, more tolerant, produced higher yields, had sugar-to-acid conversion ratios. After 100 days fermentation, total 1982.97 ± 1.81 g with yield 2.68 0.48 g/L h, which than that free (0.625 0.28 h). This study demonstrated excellent potential application industry.

Kinetic study of continuous whey permeate fermentation by immobilized Lactobacillus helveticus for lactic acid production

A pH-controlled continuous lactic acid fermentation of whey permeate supplemented with yeast extract was carried out with Lactobacillus helveticus entrapped in K-carrageenan-locust bean gum gel beads at various dilution rates and pH set points. A kinetic study of the immobilized cell continuous fermentation in a 1-I stirred-tank reactor containing 33% (v/v) gel beads was carried out with an ori...

Effects of Two Probiotics, Lactobacillus Plantarum and Lactobacillus Bulgaricus on Growth Performance and Intestinal Lactic Acid Bacteria of Cyprinus Carpio

Background: The application of probiotics to aquaculture is rather new. Probiotics affect the intestinal microbial flora of fish and subsequently modulate its immune response and growth performance. OBJECTIVES: This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of food supplementation with L.plantarum and L.bulgaricus on growth performance and gut microbiota of Cyprinus carpio. METHODS: For this p...

Fermentation of Tomato Juice by Cell Immobilized Lactobacillus acidophilus

INTRODUCTION Probiotics are beneficial microorganisms. When ingested on a regular basis, probiotics can improve overall health, balance the microflora of the intestinal tract, enhance immune system function, and assist in the absorption of vitamins and minerals [1]. The most commonly consumed probiotics are lactic acid bacteria (LAB) including Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus plantarum ...
